About Us

Thanks for visiting GeoffAndMonica.com! So, how did the two of them meet in a city of 9 million people? A city where people are often too busy to have time for love? Well, they owe it all to the Internet. They both spent a while perusing the matches on JDate, even finding each other and communicating at one point. But the load of matches and their hectic schedules resulted in them going their separate ways. That was until Dr. Neil Clark Warren — of eHarmony.com fame — paired them as a match on September 9, 2006. Both had online dating fatique, yet they decided to give it one more shot, and had their first date at Cibar in Union Square on September 21, 2006. It was then that they started the journey.

Falling in love was easy. The couple compliment each other in just about every way. Being from a small family and having been separated from many of his friends in Washington, DC and Southern NJ, Geoff looked forward to meeting Monica's plethora of family and friends, most from the Metropolitan area. Having met each other's families and friends and receiving their approval, an official proposal was made on May 28, 2007. After a few moments of shock, Monica P. Gliksman accepted Geoffrey L. Sandler's proposal for marriage. Stay tuned for more of our story...
